Tunica County School District recognized Students of the Month, Parents of the Month, and Employees of Month during its monthly meeting held on October 8, 2019 at Tunica Elementary School Auditorium.

On October 2, 2019, Dundee Elementary also honored employees that are vitally important to their school community.  Students and Staff honored their custodial workers for all their hard work in keeping a clean school environment.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the students, teachers, and staff took part in National Walk to School Day by taking a walk near the school in commemoration of the event.  The Tunica County Sheriff Department helped keep the streets near the school clear of traffic for the while students and staff completed their walk.
