    Q How do I access the new email system?
  A

Logging in to the System

To log in:

· Go to the school website ( http://tunicak12.org  ) and click on "District Email"

· Type your User ID (last name first initial) for example:  doej

· Type your password in the log in box. (If you are unsure of your User ID contact the Technology Department at 662.363.3507)

· Click Logon to go to your Start Page

· If you share a computer or work in a computer lab do not check the Remember Me checkbox because this allows others to access the system using your User ID and password.   

 

If you forget or lose your password, click Lost Password? Enter your User ID and an alternate email address. The system emails your password.

  

To Access Email     (New Domain is @tunicak12.org) New Email Address doej@tunicak12.org

· Click the drop down arrow key located in the upper right hand corner next to your full name on the blue bar

o To view email, select EMAIL

o To save documents , select DOCUMENTS

o To log off , select LOG OFF

Take advantage of the wealth of information, email manual, training, and educational materials, available to you anytime, anywhere in the Customer Portal.

 

  3) Q Where do I save my documents because flash drives are not permitted?
  A

All files should be saved in the "network folder" and not on the hard drive.  You must be logged in on Novell in order to access your "Home Folder".  If you need further assistance, please see your Campus Technology Mentor or Technician.

Any of the following links are freeware for your computer, you may download one or all to help protect your home computer from viruses.
